Scroll our Travel Blog for inspiration.
If you want to see what we’ve been up to, or if you want some inspiration for your next trip, scroll through all of our blog posts.
You’ll find itineraries with practical travel advice, in-depth history into our favourite sites, memories of the best food, restaurants, and bars we’ve visited as well as books that have inspired our wanderlust.
You’ll also find Travel Journals which give more personal insight into destinations without a step-by-step guide - this is the stuff we love writing because travelling isn’t only about what you see, and the world isn’t a list of places and sights to be ticked off; it’s about what you feel, who you meet and what you learn along the way. Sure, it’s useful to know what bus to get where, but we want to write about the museum exhibit in Austria that had us in open-mouthed wander for an hour. The home-cooked meal that made us cry, the time we tried (and failed) to explain cricket to Argentinians through mime, the tango class lost in translation, the colours of the Northern Lights reflected in each other’s eyes, and mountain air so cold it took our breath away.

Temple Ruins at Tikal
The sun was still rising above the jungle as we entered Tikal national park. Somewhere in there, hidden amongst the tangle of leaves of vines - almost reclaimed by nature - is the remains of one of the most powerful citadels in the ancient Mayan world. Tikal.

A Tale of Two Capitals
Did you know that Bolivia has two capital cities? Me neither. Although… it depends who you ask.
The Two Sides of Lake Titicaca
It’s not hard to see why the Inca people believed the Andean world was born from the depths of Lake Titicaca - we spent a week exploring the lake from the Peruvian and Bolivian sides and were captivated by these sacred waters.
The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu
Long before Graeme and I knew each other, we were two nerdy kids pouring over Horrible Histories books, dreaming of one day walking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu… so to do it side by side was a dream come true.

Peruvian history does not begin and end with the Incas. We used Trujillo as a base to explore archaeological sites and learn more about pre-Incan cultures in Northern Peru.
